Capital Campaign

Walk into Lions Gate on any given day and you’ll experience a community filled with life and vibrancy. A community where seniors are engaged in activity… where new friendships blossom, and where residents are given every opportunity to learn – and experience – new things. We’ve set the bar high when it comes to providing exceptional lifestyles and care.

The vibrant everyday life our residents enjoy at Lions Gate is born from a commitment that began over 40 years ago when a dedicated group of community volunteers came together to create the Jewish Geriatric Home (JGH). When JGH opened, it filled an urgent need in South Jersey’s Jewish community – administering quality care to our seniors and providing spiritual contentment by honoring Jewish traditions and values.

In response to changing needs and desires, Lions Gate opened its doors in 2007 because people demanded a more active lifestyle; they wanted a community that offered independence, with a guarantee that on-site healthcare was available if it is needed.

Lions Gate continues to improve the lifestyle options by providing the quality services and programs that appeal to today’s retiree. We are now in the midst of a $6 million capital campaign to provide a home that better reflects the lifestyle trends of tomorrow.

An expanded Fitness Center with state-of-the-art equipment will answer the greater emphasis on wellness. The new dining venues, including a bistro and stadium kitchen, will provide increased menu options, cooking demonstrations, extended hours of operation, and more seating options for residents and their families.

Our capital campaign embraces our rich history and dedication to setting the standard of quality living for our residents of today and tomorrow. Your support will help us to provide a warm and inviting home to our loved ones in the community.
