Monday – Speaker Series: w/ Chai H. Respes – Topic: Jews of Color

Chai Respes is a lifelong student and educator of Judaism. He is a grandson and pupil of Rabbi Abel Respes z”l. As a teen, he went through the ranks of United Synagogue Youth and spent many years as a USY Coordinator for several shuls.  Chai is a member of Congregation Beth El in Voorhees, NJ as well as Kahal Kodosh Mikveh Israel in Philadelphia. Today, in addition to leading Junior Congregation Services for pre-b’nai mitzvah youth, he teaches Junior College and the Confirmation classes at Beth El.
