We continue our fascinating series of Biographies.  By focusing on one Artist each time we meet, we take the opportunity to examine the Artist, his or her work, and biographical information which helps us to understand the Artist’s motivations.

Until now we have visited those 20th and 21st Century artists whose work broke with tradition, pursued abstraction, and revolutionized our thinking about the nature of art.

This month we will take a long hard look at those artists, such as Dali, Magritte, Man Ray, and Chagall, who also were motivated to “think outside the box”, but did not forsake realistic methods of representation to achieve their ends!
