Victor Young

“Although Victor Young is best known for his film scores for “Around the World in Eighty Days” and “September Affair”, he was also known as a popular band leader and many of the songs penned by Victor Young were popular hits during the 1930s to the 1950s.  His story is of a 9-year-old child abandoned by his father when his mother died, who traveled with his sister to find his grandfather in Europe and later returned to the United States to become a well-known band leader and eventually one of Hollywood’s most beloved composers.”
