Thursdays – Ethics in Modern Life
3/2 & 3/16 @ 11:00 AM/CH
Hosted by: Sarah Rosenson
In each of these sessions we will discuss a different ethical issue that has strong arguments on both sides. Our issues will be drawn from a wide range of sources and will cover a wide variety of topics but will always foster lively discussion. On March 2nd we will talk about Artificial Intelligence and the “responsibility gap.” If a device with artificial intelligence causes harm, who is responsible? And on March 16th we will discuss whether or not it’s ethical to be a football fan, given what we now know about the long-term effects of head injuries. Come join the conversation and share your views!
