Join Trish Chambers as she explores the period of our history known as the “Gilded Age”. Meet the Titans of industry, the Vanderbilts and the Astors. Peek under the glitter and learn how newly arriving Immigrants created the melting pot that built our American culture. Learn how some of our most prosperous modern companies took root in the Gilded Age (1870-1900). This program will show what it took for the United States to grow into a world power in less than half a century. Performed in period costume.
