8/9 Josephine Baker – One of the most famous American expatriates of the 20th Century, Josephine Baker left the U.S. for France and pursued the successful entertainment career that was denied her as a Black woman in America. She entertained troops in Europe during WWII, and is considered to have been an important spy for the Allies.

8/16 Famous Spies of WWII Part A – This 1-part presentation explores the secret life of famous people we know that lead dangerous lives fighting our enemies in WWII. Some of these heroes we will learn about are Audrey Hepburn, Graham Greene, Julia Child, Roald Dahl, Cary Grant, and Ian Fleming among others.

8/23 Famous Spies of WWII Part B – This 1-part presentation explores the secret life of famous people we know that lead dangerous lives fighting our enemies in WWII. Some of these heroes we will learn about are John Le Carre, Alice Marble, Sterling Hayden, Walt Disney, and Christopher Lee among others.

8/30 Famous Spies – This 1-part presentation explores famous spies and their exploits. Included in this presentation are: Robert Baden-Powell, Ronald Reagan, the Dalai Lama, Anderson Cooper, Uri Geller, Chuck Barris, Christopher Marlowe, Jan van Eyck, Harold Wilson, Harry Houdini, Frank Sinatra, Mata Hari, and others.
