A lecture/forum to inspect and understand the purpose, the actual amendments and application of the Constitution – What do the amendments say? How are they written? What is the “Bill of Rights?” How do we interpret Constitutional items/amendments? How are new laws enacted? How are they applied in law? How does it form the basis of our laws? How did the founding fathers conceive the constitution? How have the courts upheld or changed the effects of the constitution over time? When were the various amendments applied, and for what reasons? This lass will invite discussion and give detailed overviews of each section to help give a better understanding of its meaning and supplication.
