Who was Anna Marie Rosenberg?

Anna Rosenberg was a Jewish Hungarian Immigrant, who was a major player in American  history. She participated in negotiations with the Unions before, during and after WWII and beyond. Because of her steel fist in a velvet glove approach, she was able to prevent national strikes that would have crippled the country and cost millions in revenue.

Anna counted Eleanor Roosevelt as a close friend and confidant.

She was FDR’s eyes and ears on the WWII battlefields and again as a liaison for President Truman in Korea. Anna advised American Presidents from FDR to Lyndon Johnson and worked Directly with WWII greats like Generals Dwight D Eisenhower, Omar Bradley and George S. Patton.

As a civilian, Anna held the position of Assistant Secretary of Defense. She was the first American Citizens to receive the Presidential Medal Of Freedom. The story Of Anna Rosenberg is fascinating, complex and enlightening. She remained behind the scenes, wielding power and influence, bringing to life some of the most important programs in American history, such as the GI bill and Social Security. Her life and career were stellar, yet her heritage and political affiliations drove her into obscurity. This presentation serves to introduce you to a woman who helped shape post war America.
