Mondays – Exploring Antarctica

On this journey, we will head south to Antarctica and explore this forbidding and distant land through a combined geographical and historical approach. The word ‘Antarctica’ conveys many images—icy landscapes, bitter temperatures, penguin colonies, and midnight sun—to name just a few. We will delve into plate tectonics, past climates, polar exploration, and more, as we investigate this fascinating world.
