David is an accomplished public servant who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Public Policy & Administration (MPA) from Rutgers University—Camden. He is also a distinguished graduate of the Eagleton Institute of Politics Fellowship Program.
David is currently a Government Representative on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL), Office of Apprenticeship in the Murphy Administration. Prior to his current role, David excelled as a government affairs/relations consultant, working with public and private sector clients, businesses, organizations, cannabis companies, and labor unions on local, county, and state government policy issues and initiatives.
David’s experience in public service is extensive. He is a former Councilman in the Borough of Bellmawr (Camden County) and has previously worked as an aide in the 4th Legislative District on behalf of Senator Fred H. Madden (D-4), Assemblyman Paul Moriarty (D-4), and Assemblywoman Gabriela Mosquera (D-4). David has also worked on behalf of Co-Chairman Donald Norcross (Current Congressman D-1) and Co-Chairman James Beach (Current State Senator D-6) at the Camden County Democratic Committee in Cherry Hill, NJ, where he played an integral role in organizing and directing political campaigns at all levels of government.
David’s commitment to civic engagement extends to his charitable and social endeavors. He has served in leadership roles on multiple boards, committees and caucuses including: The Community Planning & Advocacy Council (C.P.A.C.), Jewish Community Center Board (JCC), Jewish Senior Housing and Healthcare Service Board (JSHHS) and Jewish Community Relations Council of Southern New Jersey Board (JCRC). David is also the Jewish Caucus Chair on behalf of the Camden County Democratic Committee and New Jersey Young Democrats. He has also been an active member of organizations such as Bellmawr Lions Club, Bellmawr VFW, Sons of Italy Vita Nuova Lodge #2327, Jewish Family Children’s Service of Southern NJ (JFCS) as a Peer Mentor, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties as a Big Brother. David is a lifelong resident of Bellmawr.
