Pat’s adventure took her deep into the reserve’s renowned underground hides, where she enjoyed extraordinary, close-up encounters with elephants, wildebeest, and a vibrant array of birdlife—both by day and under the magic of the African night sky. From these unique vantage points, she captured breathtaking photographs and video footage from a rare, ground-level perspective. As the animals gathered at the waterholes—completely unaware of the hidden cameras, Pat was able to document intimate, natural moments that few ever have the privilege to witness
