Currently over 45% of our healthcare residents rely solely on Medicaid. These are challenging times for senior care as many seniors are outliving their financial resources at alarming rates. With decreasing third-party payer assistance (Medicare and Medicaid), and the possibility of an acute illness, the “perfect storm” for increased financial burdens is just around the corner. In addition to Lions Gate residents of Saltzman House are on limited income and cannot always afford the extras in life, i.e. salon services, going out to lunch/dinner or cable tv service.

We remain dedicated in our mission to deliver quality, personalized and compassionate care along with community-based services to all of our residents. As a benefactor, you can make a difference in the lives of our seniors by allowing them to maintain their dignity and enhancing their quality of life through social, cultural and spiritual independence. Your contribution will go directly to meet the needs of our residents such as salon services, out to lunch trips, and other social activities for which they do not have funds.
