Dr. Craig M. Wax, family physician, author and media host presents a discussion; “Dementia: A Scary Word.” He will discuss issues with memory, the concerns that many have, especially as they age. Dr. Wax will share information to help differentiate short-term delirium from long-term dementia. As we age, memory concerns become more prominent and can disrupt our daily lives and those of our families. Caregivers and patients alike need to share their concerns and work together with families for best outcomes.
