10/23 we return to the series Music in the Period of Common Practice – The Classical Period, with a further examination of the Music of Franz Joseph Hadyn, focused on his Symphonies. In fact, although he did not create the symphony, Haydn was known as the “Father of the Symphony.”
10/30 we will complete coverage of Haydn’s symphonies, focused on his later symphonies. And we will look at Haydn works such as The Creation, the Seasons, and the Haydn Concerti.
