The Renaissance
After the fall of Constantinople and the recovery of Europe from the plague, a “rebirth” of interest in the ancient classical Greek and Roman forms of art and architecture flourished. A rise in interest in scientific and historical things inspired the development of new techniques, perspectives and subject matter.
