Thursday – Ethics in Modern Life
3/6 & 3/20 @ 11:00 AM/MR
Hosted by: Sarah Rosenson
In each of these sessions we will discuss a different ethical issue that has strong arguments on both sides. Our issues will be drawn from a wide range of sources and will cover a wide variety of topics but will always foster lively discussion.
3/6 Should billionaires exist? Does their huge wealth indicate something unjust and unethical about how our society is structured, or not?
3/20 We will talk about four scenarios from the New York Times Ethicist column about various financial transactions involving uncashed checks, hotel minibars, and friends splitting the cost of dinner.
