Thursday – Ethics in Modern Life
5/1 & 5/15 @ 11:00 AM/CH
Hosted by: Sarah Rosenson
In each of these sessions we will discuss a different ethical issue that has strong arguments on both sides. Our issues will be drawn from a wide range of sources and will cover a wide variety of topics but will always foster lively discussion.
5/1 Should we have laws against price-gouging, or not? And what should happen to people who hoard products that everyone needs in a pandemic?
5/15 We will talk about four scenarios from the New York Times Ethicist column, all of which involve paying taxes.
