Thursday – Ethics in Modern Life
6/6 & 6/27 @ 11:00 AM/MR
Hosted by: Sarah Rosenson
In each of these sessions we will discuss a different ethical issue that has strong arguments on both sides. Our issues will be drawn from a wide range of sources and will cover a wide variety of topics but will always foster lively discussion.
6/6 We will discuss three scenarios from the New York Times Ethicist column, all of which relate to police officers and/or jury duty.
6/27 Psychologists must keep what their clients tell them confidential. But what should they do if the client talks about committing violence? Do they have a duty to warn others?
